I forgot to tell you that I posted pics from the Jimmy Eat World show the other night.
They haven't been playing "Goodbye Sky Harbor" lately (in fact they haven't played it the last four times I've seen them). I shouted it out a couple of times, and then they played it during the encore. I was way stoked. I'll go on thinking they played it at my suggestion because I'm delusional. Or perhaps it really is because I requested it.

Greg and I went to see The Dark Knight on the IMAX screen this evening. It was totally worthy of all the hype. I had chills. I almost cried like, six separate times, even when nothing particularly sad was happening. I was just so overwhelmed by the whole thing. Heath Ledger was brilliant. There really isn't much I can say that hasn't been said already. It was amazing. I already want to see it again.
We ran into the Movie Bears on our way out. They were going to the screening immediately after the one we saw. We saw a few people that we know, like Dave and Eric, Noel, Tommy Girl, and Jeb. It was madness. I can't even imagine how much money that movie has made so far. |

I'm totally looking for my socks right now because Jimmy Eat World rocked them off. I'll write all about it and post the pics and videos tomorrow.
I totally want to go and see them at the Avalon in Hollywood tomorrow night, and there are still tickets available, but it's almost 35 miles from my hotel. That would be one hell of a cab ride. |

Yeah so I'm totally like, freaking out inside.
How stoked am I that Greg and I are going to see Jimmy Eat World at the Fillmore tonight? If you guessed "really damn stoked," then you're correct.
It will be my 14th time seeing them live. The show is sold out so they'll probably be handing out Limited Edition Collector posters on the way out. I am really excited. Life is so good. Better than I ever thought it could be. |

The United States Senate has voted to repeal the 20-year old policy banning HIV+ immigrants and non-immigrants from entering the country. That's really awesome news for someone who is very close to me. It's really awesome news in general. |

I woke up early this morning and headed to the Apple Store in Burlingame to wait for a new iPhone. I got there a bit before 6:30 AM. At a little after noon I walked out with a brand-spanking-new 16 GB white iPhone 3G. I love him. I keep looking at him and I fall deeper in love with him. I shall call him Paddy, because he is small and white like a wee Irish lad.
My left nipple seems to get infected a lot. It's been pierced for like, 6 years now, but it's like it reacts to stress or something. Today I've decided to name him The Talented Mr. Nipply. I slathered him with antibiotic cream. I know you're all deeply concerned so I will keep you posted.
This evening I'm off to get a tattoo touched up and then I'm going to wander around the Gayborhood. Say hello if you see me.
I'll be flying all over this weekend. Be sure to look up and wave. |
